Glacier National Park at Last

I arrived at Glacier National Park on Monday.  No more WiFi and unable to publish my blog.
It's Saturday and I am now at the Glacier Institute getting ready for my Watercolor Workshop tomorrow.  I would like to try to catch up on my 5 days at Glacier so far.

I'm happy to have arrived
I'm so happy to be sketching!
Monday I camped at Apgar Campground and rode my bike around the park.  That night there was a huge Thunder and Lightening storm.  I was so glad I wasn't in a tent!  A deer was right outside my van
in the morning.
Tuesday
I hop on the shuttle for avalanche Creek.   I hiked the Trail of The Cedars.  A beautiful trail of very old Cedars.
Checked in to fish Creek site B45.
Bike ride and washed my hair in freezing cold water.  That wakes you up.
Wednesday
Woman's Fly Fishing with Beau.  A young man from Montana.  He was Great!

And so was his dog Leo! I loved Beau's philosophy of fishing:  Don't take it too seriously.
He taught us:
1. How to keep Happy when fishing.
2. How not to break your rod.
3. How to tie knots.  Simple is Better!
4. Beau likes a big dry fluffy fly.  If you can't see your fly it's harder to fish.
This is where the 13 women went fishing.  They were mostly from Montana where is fishing is good.
I'm going to publish this and go and fix my bike, the chain slipped off.   Then on to
                                               Thursday and Friday !
